The Faulkner-Sagoff Breast Imaging and Diagnostic Centre provides a patient-centered  approach to breast cancer detection, prevention, patient and staff education, research and treatment, making it one of the leading centers for breast health care in New England and in the country. In the decades since its establishment in 1971, the Centre has cared for well over 100,000 patients. What makes the Faulkner-Sagoff Centre unique, however, is not the number of patients seen, but the exceptional care they receive every day.
Exceptional Care
The Faulkner-Sagoff Breast Imaging and Diagnostic Centre provides a number of exceptional services. Patients who visit the Centre during regular work hours receive the results of their mammograms before they leave. All patients with signs or symptoms of a breast abnormality are examined by a board-certified radiologist who takes the time to answer questions and provide reassurance. All of our licensed technologists are specially trained in mammography. Every member of the Centre's staff firmly believes in ensuring that each woman is comfortable with her examination and understands her results.

The Faulkner-Sagoff Breast Imaging and Diagnostic Centre, located in the Belkin House at Faulkner Hospital, is dedicated to providing the most up-to-date, comprehensive breast care, including active clinical research, high-quality treatment and patient education. The first of its kind in the country, the Faulkner-Sagoff Breast Imaging and Diagnostic Centre has earned an outstanding reputation for its exceptional treatment of breast disease, compassion for patients and their families and focus on patient empowerment.

You will need to provide information including your name, date of birth, phone number, address and the name of the physician to whom we should send the report. If you have had films taken previously elsewhere, you will be asked to bring those to your appointment.
Faulkner Hospital also offers free mammograms to uninsured patients over 40. Please call 617-983-7451 for more information. Appointments are required.
Fundraising
The Friends of Faulkner-Sagoff Centre has raised over 1.8 million dollars over the past 9 years to benefit the Faulkner-Sagoff Breast Imaging and Diagnostic Centre through events such as the annual Friends of Faulkner-Sagoff Centre Gala and Auction.
Gifts play an important role in the Centre's ability to care for its patients. Donations support innovative research, the purchase of state of the art equipment, and the education and training of professionals through the fellowship program as well as patient programs. The Mammography Access Program also receives support to increase access to breast health care for uninsured women.
