Chrysalyne Schmults, M.D., Director of the Mohs Micrographic Surgery and Dermatologic Surgery Center, offers highly-specialized outpatient surgical techniques for removing skin cancers with excellent outcomes. The most successful surgical treatment modality for basal and squamous cell carcinomas, Mohs surgery has a remarkable 99 percent cure rate with new cancers and 95 percent cure rate for recurrent disease, while conserving as much normal tissue as possible. Nearly 700 patients were treated last year with Mohs surgery at the Center for Cutaneous Oncology.

  • Contact Mohs Micrographic Surgery Center, schedule appointment, notifying staff that you will be submitting path slides etc. for your visit.
  • Contact physician's office and request Pathology Report and Corresponding Slides. 
  • Have them sent to Mohs Micrographic Surgery Center, attention Administrative Coordinator, 1153 Centre Street, Jamaica Plan, MA 02130.
  • If you do not receive a call within two weeks of your appointment please contact Mohs Micrographic Surgery Center at 617-983-4504 to see if slides have been received.
