Getting Vaccinated

  Vaccination against influenza is the most effective way to prevent illness.

 
 

Please see below for the list of Flu Clinics being held.

2010 Free H1N1 (Swine Flu) Vaccine Clinic

  • Please wear short sleeved clothing
  • Vaccine is preservative free (appropriate for Pregnant women)
  • If you have a fever, please select a clinic after your fever has been gone for 24 hours.
  • Must be 16 or older, in order to receive vaccine at this clinic
  • Vaccine given on a first come, first served basis
  • Contact Stacey 617-983-7907 with any questions

Seasonal Flu Clinics

  • Please wear short sleeved clothing
  • If you are pregnant, please consult with your physician prior to attending
  • If you have a fever, please select a clinic after your symptoms have been gone for 7 days
  • Must be 16 or older, in order to receive vaccine from these clinics
  • H1N1 (Swine Flu) Vaccine is NOT available at these clinics
  • No appointments necessary (given on a first come, first served basis)
  • Call Stacey at 617-983-7907 prior to attending any clinic to ensure that the vaccine is available:

Even though you may not be able to receive the flu vaccine now at Faulkner Hospital, there are still other ways you can prevent both the seasonal and 2009 H1N1 influenza. Please click on the "Prevention" tab on the bottom of this page.
