Women's Early Recovery Group
This eight-session, weekly group provides ongoing support for women newly recovering from addiction who are working on specific issues which may be more effectively dealt with in an all-female group setting
Men's Early Recovery Group This eight-session, weekly group addresses issues and situations that arise in the first few months after becoming clean and sober, such as: coping with cravings, being around friends who still drink and use, and talking with loved ones about feelings.
Relapse Prevention Group Using both group and individual counseling, this program specifically focuses on issues important to those who have had a period of successful recovery, and then returned to substance abuse or are at risk for relapse. Family members and friends are invited to participate in all sessions.
Faulkner Hospital is proud to sponsor the following self-help groups which meet at Faulkner Hospital. They are open to the community and are free of charge.
Brigham and Women's Quit Smoking Program Brigham and Women's Quit Smoking Program can offer you and your family assistance in planning to quit and staying quit once and for all! A counselor is available for individual and group counseling. The program will help you think about many different approaches to quitting smoking including: counseling and information about how to stop, nicotine replacement therapy and other self-help behavioral modifications. Upcoming group sessions in 2009 at Brigham and Women's Hospital include:

Classes are for 8 weeks, every Thursday evening.
The cost of the group is free. Once enrolled in the group, nicotine replacement therapy is offered at a discounted price. Please call (617) 732-8983 to register.
