Faulkner Hospital, a nonprofit community teaching
hospital, has long recognized its responsibility to not only treat
illness, but to help prevent disease and the factors that precipitate
disease. Through the numerous health partnerships and initiatives
we have developed over the years, we are working with our neighbors
to identify and address important community needs and concerns.
More than 60,000 men, women, children and elderly
are served each year through Community Health and Benefits programs
at Faulkner Hospital. These include health education, preventative
health screenings, school partnerships and community outreach. Every
department in the hospital and more than 75 physicians volunteer
to participate in programs for Community Health and Benefits each
year.
